Recruiting
Meter
Meter’s networking solution is vertically integrated across hardware, software, and operations. The ability to scale our infrastructure wrests on our operational capabilities driven by two functions in particular – Product Operations and Support Engineering. Product Operations owns the fulfillment and deployment of Meter’s infrastructure, whereas Support Engineering proactively resolves customers’ networking issues.
Today, these teams are primarily based in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for building the teams that scale these functions globally. You will be charged with designing and scaling methods for finding, attracting, evaluating and closing world-class talent. You will enable hiring managers with the training, tools, and tactics to consistently and reliably hire best-in-market talent. Lastly, you will serve as a standard bearer of Meter’s cultural pillars of Kindness and Ambition for hiring teams and candidates.
You are a great fit if you are obsessed with – and particularly good at – building early-stage teams that scale with a rapidly growing business. You are known for always being on top of it, anticipating what needs attention before your hiring partners do. You have an exceptionally high bar for talent and a knack for discovering and attracting the best in the market. As a vertically integrated networking company that builds and deploys hardware and software, we have a preference for someone with experience in this industry. You do not need to be specialized in hiring support engineering, networking engineering, or product operations talent. That said, a track record of hiring across a diverse set of functions with technical and non-technical roles is a requirement.
Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
Why Meter?
The internet runs the world. Every email you send, purchase you make, video call you join—it’s all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.
We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.
Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.
