About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager - DACH must be a knowledgeable, capable and charismatic leader with proven experience hunting enterprise-level net new logos, and ideally working with a scaling company in the SaaS security space. They must be focused on meeting corporate sales, revenue, operational and strategic goals as well as the professional growth. They will be an outstanding cross-functional team member and brand ambassador both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
Successfully starting and growing a net new territory as the first RSM in DACH
Defining and implementing a sales strategy for DACH
Effectively build territory in the DACH region. Lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations and conversations with CXO- and VP-level audiences within major enterprise accounts, as well as channel partner leadership and technical stakeholders
Strong pipeline development experience, leadership skills to independently prioritize and execute project tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner
Set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders and team members
Working tirelessly to make it easier for customers to do business with Menlo Security
Playing a hands-on role maintaining a personal presence and high visibility in the field, and directly participating in customer activities and sales cycles in key markets and accounts
Develop relationships with key partners for growth within their customer base
Provide professional responses to customer RFPs / RFIs
Represent the products, company values and brand to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Take ownership of the POC/Pilot process
Capture requested features and provide feedback to Product Management, Sales management, Development, Support, Engineering and Marketing teams
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years selling to new logo accounts for a SaaS vendor
Requires the ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes
Flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong relationship-building skills
Collaborative and team-oriented attitude
Effective problem-solving capabilities
Takes initiative and approaches all tasks and projects proactively
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision
Fluid, working knowledge of how to build and measure pipeline creation, deal velocity, quoting, proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other executive decision-makers
Highly developed client satisfaction focus -- excellent decision-making and conflict resolution skills
Strong knowledge of the Cyber Security Market
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills required -- including content development
40-50% travel required
