Position Overview
The Professional Services team at Menlo helps customers properly deploy their Menlo solution. A Professional Services Consultant at Menlo is a senior technical individual contributor, remoting or traveling to customer sites to assist in proper design, deployment and manage the assigned major accounts post deployment.
In the deployment role, you will be a key field resource, working hand-in-hand with the deployment team, partners and customers, to provide deployment advisory services to ensure proper design, configuration, resiliency, and overall best practices are followed.
In the account management role, you will play a major part in the post-sales process. Expertise in the technical elements of the product and clarity of instruction are important competencies in this position. Success in this role will be demonstrated through improvements in the generation of sales leads and retention of clients.
Responsibilities
Understand the customer requirements and deliverables and create a comprehensive Statement of Work (SOW)
Present the Menlo cloud security assessments to Customers
Create and deliver detailed and professional level documentation
Understand System integration with SSO, Azure, AD, Proxies, Cloud API, VM's & Firewalls and integrate with Menlo and Menlo APIs
Self Project Manage and deliver services on-time
Working closely with customers, CSM and TAM to build the tools for the better customer experience and service improvement
Identify solutions to reduce support costs
Liaise with the sales department to win new business and increase sales
Job Requirements
BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience with automation and program development
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in building/integrating security solutions in large environments, like Bluecoat, Forcepoint, F5 and etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent problem solver via collaboration and running sessions to come up with new, innovative ideas.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally
Excellent organizational skills
Willingness to listen, learn and incorporate others ideas into all aspects of the job.
Experience with working with a Fortune 500 companies
Comfortable with travel up to 10%
Required Experience & Skills
Solid understanding of Internet protocols(TCP/IP, HTTP and SSL) and applications
Ability to effectively juggle and manage many different tasks/projects simultaneously
Proficiency in writing testable Python (2.7 or 3.x) and Bash.
Experience with object-oriented design and framework-style implementation. ● Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems.
Familiarity with web and database tools such as: Javascript, NodeJS, Go, FastAPI, Flask, Django, MySQL, Postgre.
A working knowledge of git and bitbucket.
