Medely is currently seeking a Payroll Manager to join our Financial Operations leadership team. You will own the corporate payroll function and ensure the accurate and timely processing of hourly and salaried payrolls. You will partner with HR to process all new hires, terminations, pay changes, and employee status changes. You will partner with Accounting by developing monthly payroll and PTO accruals and GL reporting. You will be responsible for developing internal controls, including payroll audits to the employee level, and ensure tax and reporting compliance. You have experience working in a matrix environment and partnering with cross-functional teams to make people, processes, and tools better.
Who You Are
Experience managing a bi-weekly payroll process for 300+ remote hourly and salaried employees spread across the United States.
Expertise with Rippling HR
Experience managing hourly and salary payrolls in both CA, IL, and NY
Domain expertise on wage and hour laws and local/state/federal taxation rules and filings.
Superior judgment, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CPP or FPC certification
