As a Lead Salesforce Engineer at Maven Clinic, you will drive the technical vision and architecture of our Salesforce platform and its connected ecosystem. You will lead the design, development, and ongoing improvement of highly scalable, performant, and reliable systems that enable our go-to-market teams to operate efficiently and effectively. You will balance hands-on development with technical leadership by guiding design decisions, mentoring other engineers and admins, establishing standards, and partnering closely with Growth, Finance, Engineering, and Leadership teams to ensure platform stability and scalability.

As a Lead Salesforce Engineer at Maven, you will:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce engineers and admins, fostering high standards for design, documentation, and delivery
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Salesforce solutions that enable scalable operations and streamlined processes
  • Proactively identify and lead initiatives for architecture modernization, data model improvements, and process optimization across Sales Cloud and related systems
  • Design and implement automation across GTM workflows to drive operational efficiency and data consistency using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and APIs. Oversee code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Growth teams to integrate, maintain, and continually improve Salesforce connections with key systems, while supporting project management and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives
  • Coordinate offshore engineers and contractors to maintain alignment with Maven’s technical standards, delivery timelines, and quality expectations
  • Partner closely with leadership to establish platform governance practices for data security, access controls, and release management to ensure audit readiness and system reliability

We're looking for you to bring:

  • 10+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience, with a proven track record of independently building and maintaining scalable systems to meet business goals
  • Demonstrated success leading complex Salesforce initiatives end-to-end, from design through deployment, leveraging Apex, LWC, and declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Formula Fields)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to define, scope, and deliver sustainable solutions
  • Experience leading Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD practices (Salesforce DX, CLI, Git-based workflows) and establishing related best practices
  • Energized by fast-paced environments that combine near-term problem solving with long-term planning for scale
  • Familiarity with managing system integrations across GTM technologies such as CPQ, HubSpot, Salesloft (or other sales automation tools), accounting platforms like NetSuite, customer success tools such as Gainsight, and enrichment providers like 6sense, as well as experience with other Salesforce Clouds (Service, Experience, or Marketing Cloud)

For candidates in NYC, CA, CO, the salary range for this role is $180,000 - $230,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
