This role will report into the General Manager of New Business Ventures. You will own acquisition, funnel design, landing page testing, CRM strategy, creative direction, and channel experimentation for new ventures. This is a hands-on role that blends performance marketing depth with startup scrappiness, rapid testing, and the ability to build new playbooks. You will also partner closely with internal teams across brand, marketing, product, data, and engineering to bring new ventures to market successfully.
As a Director of Growth Marketing, New Ventures at Maven, you will:
- Build and execute growth strategies for new business lines, pilot markets, and emerging revenue initiatives, including go-to-market plans for new products, segments, and geographies.
- Define early KPIs, growth models, and test priorities; run rapid channel and landing-page experiments to find signal, validate traction, and optimize early funnel performance.
- Lead acquisition planning across paid social, search, affiliate, and emerging channels; manage budgets and optimize campaigns to ensure efficient CAC as markets scale.
- Use data, experimentation, and qualitative insights to refine messaging, value props, pricing, and positioning for new customer segments.
- Build CRM journeys, segmentation, and triggered lifecycle flows that nurture early adopters and drive activation, integrating insights back into acquisition and product strategy.
- Manage creative partners and build a structured creative testing pipeline that produces high-performing assets informed by rapid learnings.
- Own performance reporting, insights, and forecasting; partner across analytics, product, finance, engineering, and brand to validate traction and shape go-to-market decisions.
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 7–10+ years in growth or performance marketing, ideally in healthcare and/or consumer startups.
- Experience working on 0→1 initiatives, new markets, or early-stage GTM.
- Expertise in paid acquisition, funnel optimization, and channel experimentation.
- Scrappy operator who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; comfortable owning CAC, LTV modeling, and KPI dashboards.
- Excellent cross-functional partner to brand, product, data, and engineering teams.
The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $225,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
