As Sr. Lead, Creative, you won’t just execute creative—you’ll own it. This role is for a visionary leader who thrives at the intersection of brand, performance, and storytelling. You’ll be accountable for setting the creative bar, leading cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring every piece of creative content delivers against our brand promise and business goals.

You'll lead a lean but high-impact external creative team—including designers, motion artists, and editors—while partnering closely with marketing, product, and executive leadership. From big idea campaigns to rapid-fire content, you’ll take full ownership of our creative strategy and execution across every touchpoint.

What You’ll Own:

  • Creative Vision & Execution: Set and drive the creative direction across all marketing initiatives—from paid social and TV/video to packaging and direct mail.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a distributed creative team (external partners and freelancers), instilling a culture of ownership, innovation, and creative excellence.
  • Copy & Messaging: Own all brand voice and messaging with hands-on copywriting, ensuring clarity, consistency, and emotional impact.
  • Cross-Functional Campaigns: Partner with marketing, product, and leadership to develop and deliver integrated campaigns that drive growth, engagement, and brand equity.
  • Brand Stewardship: Protect and evolve our brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Creative Strategy & Testing: Deliver on our creative testing agenda—experiment, learn, and iterate.
  • External Partnerships: Manage vendor relationships and production resources in partnership with Integrated Marketing.
  • Trendspotting & Innovation: Stay ahead of cultural shifts, platform changes, and creative tech (including AI) to keep our brand at the forefront.
  • Budget Ownership: Oversee creative budgets and resource allocation, making smart, efficient decisions to maximize impact.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Present and pitch creative concepts to leadership with confidence and clarity.
  • Hands-On Execution: Be ready to roll up your sleeves—this is a startup environment where agility, speed, and direct contribution matter.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 8+ years in creative leadership roles within branding or marketing environments.
  • A proven record of delivering high-performing, brand-building creative.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design, copy, video, or multimedia storytelling.
  • Experience managing and inspiring creative teams—both in-house and freelance.
  • Deep fluency in digital marketing, social media, and emerging creative platforms.
  • Strategic thinking with sharp execution skills—and a bias for action.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to tie creative work to business outcomes and KPIs.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments, with a comfort level working with limited resources.
  • Passion for creativity, storytelling, and building brands that matter.
