Material Technologies is expanding its reach into B2C with the launch of DesignShop. DesignShop is reinventing the home design process by taking the most exciting elements of Pinterest and combining them with a massive library of home design materials from hundreds of the country's best brands, all of which are instantly available for overnight sampling. DesignShop’s shoppable inspiration is highly accurate and when coupled with its hyper-realistic interactive design tools, allows users to create beautiful scenes comprised of any material in its library. It is our expectation that DesignShop will become the world’s most powerful virtual design center.

DesignShop is seeking a talented Account Manager to join its growing team of “builders”. In this role, you’ll report directly to our Account Management Lead and work collaboratively to support a rapidly expanding client base.

DesignShop Account Managers serve as a bridge between our esteemed Brand Partners and all that DesignShop has to offer, helping to deliver them maximum value and return. As a key point of contact for Brands, you must have a natural ability to build strong relationships, gain trust, and provide solutions. This role is dynamic and multi-faceted, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with clients, and is driven to continuously learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the team.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing all communication-related efforts with each respective Brand (from onboarding to ongoing account management). You’ll collaborate closely with the Account Management Lead to execute strategies, refine processes, develop best practices, and implement tools to automate and optimize where possible. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to help build something remarkable and influence the future of DesignShop.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact and liaison between Brand Partner teams and DesignShop
  • Build trusted relationships with brand stakeholders, decision-makers, and executives
  • Execute strategic roadmaps for Brand Partners to ensure their business outcomes are achieved
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Production, Marketing, Engineering, and Product to maximize brand retention and provide unique solutions
  • Maintain and analyze brand success metrics and data, providing insights to the Account Management Lead
  • Support partnership marketing initiatives between DesignShop and its Brand Partners

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role with a proven track record of success
  • A relentless work ethic and a commitment to doing whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a consultative approach
  • Ability to manage complex projects and relationships
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience in the home furnishings industry preferred
