We are expanding our sales team and hiring experienced Strategic Account Executives who are excited to modernize public safety operations with cloud-based technology. What You Will Do
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution, including discovery, sales cycle management, and negotiation.
- Partner with Business Development, Marketing, and Solutions Engineers to identify opportunities and advance them through the pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with public safety leaders, including both state and local agencies.
- Create and execute territory plans to drive pipeline growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Navigate public procurement processes with precision and ensure progress is communicated clearly to all stakeholders.
- Expand your network by attending industry conferences, trade shows, and regional events to generate leads and raise awareness of Mark43.
- Maintain accurate records of activity, forecasts, and deal stages in Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Share insights from the field with internal teams to influence sales strategy and product priorities.
What You Will Bring
- A genuine passion for serving law enforcement, first responders, and the broader government technology mission.
- 4 to 8 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a consistent record of exceeding quota.
- Background selling into government or public safety agencies. Experience with CAD, RMS, or other mission-critical platforms is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of public procurement cycles and ability to manage long and complex deals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including CIOs, IT leaders, and sworn officers.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities at once with discipline and attention to detail.
- Self-starter mentality with resilience and a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel 50% to 75% for customer meetings and industry events.
