We build powerful, scalable, and elegant software that sets a new standard for the tools upon which our first responders rely. Our users are diverse, and we are therefore committed to embracing diversity of thought and experience within our team.

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to join our Finance & Accounting team. This is a critical new role that will be responsible for building and leading Mark43’s revenue accounting practice. You will establish scalable processes that enable our continued growth while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across all revenue-related activities.

What You’ll Do

If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week:

  • Ensure proper configuration of financial systems to support a rapidly increasing volume of transactions
  • Partner with professional services and sales operations to establish appropriate support and system-based workflows for accurate and timely revenue recognition
  • Create accounting memos for revenue recognition policies and support for large transactions
  • Support monthly close activities and add automation into processes to reduce close time
  • Support audit preparation by maintaining accurate revenue schedules and backup documentation

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a Senior Manager with 8+ years of professional experience in revenue accounting, ideally within a SaaS or technology company. A CPA and background in technical accounting are strongly preferred. You should be deeply familiar with ASC 606 and comfortable translating technical standards into operational processes. Experience with NetSuite, SuiteBilling, and Salesforce is highly desired.

People who thrive on our team also tend to share the following characteristics:

  • Builder mindset: You enjoy creating structure where none exists and designing scalable solutions from scratch
  • Creative problem solver: You bring analytical rigor and business context to find the best path forward
  • Process improver: You identify inefficiencies and proactively recommend enhancements that benefit the entire organization

Our team is based in New York City and we follow a hybrid model, with team members working from the office 2–3 days per week. We support flexible work within that structure and believe in high trust, high transparency collaboration.

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a target base annual salary range of $150,000-$175,000 plus bonus opportunity, company stock options, and a full benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan.
