Where You Come In
You will be a foundational member of the product engineering team, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our most ambitious mobile features. This role requires a builder who can traverse the entire stack but specializes in the "feel" of the application. You will partner directly with designers to invent new paradigms for interacting with generative AI, ensuring that latency and reliability serve the user interaction.
What You Will Build
- Novel Interactions: Invent new UI paradigms for generative video, bridging the gap between asynchronous backend processes and responsive, high-fidelity frontend interfaces.
- Fluid Motion: Utilize SwiftUI and Core Animation to create indistinguishable-from-magic transitions and interactions that make complex AI feel intuitive.
- Craft and Polish: Own the final 10% of the engineering effort that separates a functional app from a world-class product, obsessing over haptics, frame rates, and visual details.
The Profile We Are Looking For
- Craft Obsession: You care deeply about the feel of the product and understand that in an AI-native application, latency, reliability, and interaction design are inextricably linked.
- SwiftUI Mastery: You are an expert in modern Swift and SwiftUI, capable of pushing the framework to its limits to achieve bespoke design requirements.
- Proven Builder: You have a history of shipping complex, user-facing products with exceptional polish, thriving in environments where design and engineering function as a single unit.
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $170,000 – $360,000 per year.
