Where You Come In
You will serve as a technical authority for our frontend systems, architecting the client-side infrastructure that powers massive-scale generative media. This is a role for a systems thinker who applies engineering rigor to the browser, ensuring that our application remains performant and reliable while handling heavy media assets and asynchronous agentic workflows.
What You Will Build
- The Application Engine: You will architect the core state management and data flow systems that coordinate between our generative models and the client, handling complex optimistic updates and race conditions.
- Performance at Scale: You will build the infrastructure to support high-fidelity video and 3D rendering in the browser, optimizing the critical rendering path to ensure low latency for millions of users.
- Scalable Foundations: You will define the technical strategy for our component architecture, establishing patterns that allow the product team to ship rapidly without accruing technical debt.
The Profile We Are Looking For
- Architectural Authority: You have a track record of designing complex frontend systems from first principles, demonstrating the judgment to navigate trade-offs between speed, reliability, and scale.
- Systems Generalist: While your focus is the frontend, you understand the full stack and can design API contracts that optimize the efficiency of the client-server relationship.
- Deep Fluency: You are an expert in the internals of React and TypeScript, with the ability to debug complex performance bottlenecks and memory leaks in media-heavy applications.
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $170,000 – $360,000 per year.
