The Role
As the first Growth Marketer at Luma, you will design and own our growth engine from the ground up. You will experiment across channels, optimize for velocity, and identify what drives adoption of our products starting with Dream Machine. This role is both strategic and scrappy: you will build systems, run experiments, and scale what works. If you think in loops, love data, and cannot resist testing new ideas, you will fit right in. Founders or builders who have worn the "growth hat" before, this might be your calling.
What a Typical Week Might Look Like:
- Design and launch experiments to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across web, social, and community channels
- Dive into analytics to identify growth levers and double down on what is working
- Collaborate with Product and Design to optimize the user journey and conversion funnel
- Build, test, and automate growth systems using modern tools without waiting for permission
- Ideate and execute rapid A/B tests, SEO initiatives, and email or performance campaigns
- Share insights and wins with the broader GTM organization to help shape our go-to-market motion
Your Background Looks Something Like:
The Essentials
- 3 to 5 years of growth marketing experience in product-led or community-driven companies
- Proven experience running experiments that moved the needle on acquisition or retention
- Hands-on experience with growth tools such as automation, SEO, analytics, and campaign management
- Analytical and data-driven mindset; you measure, test, learn, and repeat
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a high-velocity environment
What Would Make You Exceptional:
- Founder or early-stage startup experience; you have done this before even if it was not your title
- Experience in creative, AI, or community-based products
- Fluency in experimentation frameworks and performance metrics
- A genuine obsession with growth loops, virality, and system design
