We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Connectivity team. You'll join a cross-functional group of engineers with a critical mission: ensuring our customers can seamlessly integrate their diverse technical environments with the Logz.io platform.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining the essential tools and services that form the bridge between our customers' systems and our backend, enabling them to send us their event observability effortlessly.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance the core integrations and tools that our customers use to send observability data to the Logz.io platform.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions built for massive scale, capable of processing over a billion events daily.
- Take full ownership of the quality and reliability of your code through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and by creating clear, thorough documentation for fellow engineers and our customers.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues rooted in our data ingestion integrations and libraries.
- Develop and maintain core integrations primarily in Python and Go that can run across cloud and containerized systems, and contribute directly to the open-source ecosystem.

Requirements:
- Computer Science / Software Engineering BA/BSc degree or equivalent course and practical experience.
- 1+ years of professional software development experience, with proficiency in Python or Go. Experience with other modern languages (e.g., Java, Node.js, C#, .NET) is also valuable.
- A proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Ability to multitask and handle context switches.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools(Copilot, Cursor, Bedrock, Gemini, etc..)
- A collaborative team player who is also a self-starter, capable of working autonomously and taking ownership of projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Advantages:
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure and CI/CD technologies (Terraform, GitHub actions, ArgoCD).
- Bonus: Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source libraries.
