About This Role:
The VP of Operations has oversight and management of operations that include contribution margin ownership for all stores, all store operations, sales budgeting, scaling, and strategic planning, quality metrics and most importantly people development. This is a role for a builder. You’ll need to scale us from 10 kitchens to 100 and beyond.

Operations - Oversee culinary and operational standards with reporting from Area Directors

  • Inspire, motivate and keep operators accountable for results
  • Food safety and sanitation operations
  • Facility maintenance and repairs
  • Training and development
  • Scaling, new store opening planning
  • Quality of Operations - accuracy of food prep and assembly, guest joy, service and cleanliness standards
  • Build playbook of operating stores with excellence - continually improve the system
  • Sign off on pro-forma for real estate
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership and central ops and eng, be voice of field teams

People - Development of senior level management - AMs and GMs, oversee retention, training & recruiting

  • Establish and track priorities by region
  • One on one development and strategic planning for leadership team
  • Culture setting, effective meeting & coaching
  • Last line of interviewing process in hiring of top level talent

Profit - Budget reviews weekly, monthly and quarterly

  • Plans to increase profit through management of food, labor costs and controlables
  • Create bonus structure and promotion track for all roles from Supervisor to AM
  • Review and report profit and loss statements to COO and CEO along with short term and long term strategic planning

Sales - Oversee monthly and quarterly sales building planning with Marketing/ Area teams

  • Strategize new ideas to build sales
  • Budget Setting, delivering the period/quarter


  • Previously accountable for opening a minimum of 20 stores/yr and ongoing management of 50+ stores with average unit volume of $3m+
  • Grown people into Area Managers and Directors
  • Exceptional motivator who keeps people accountable
