Summary of Position
The Event Technology & Marketing Platform Specialist is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of technology solutions that support live, virtual, and hybrid events, as well as broader marketing campaign initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure the seamless integration and performance of platforms such as CVENT, iCapture, Qualtrics, Marketo Interactive Webinars, and CRM/marketing automation systems including Salesforce and Marketo Engage. The position requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while delivering high-quality attendee and user experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end setup, testing, and execution of event technology platforms for live, virtual, and hybrid events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, IT, operations) to align event tech strategies with campaign and business goals.
Configure and optimize tools such as CVENT for registration and agenda management, iCapture for lead capture, and Qualtrics for surveys and feedback.
Execute and support Marketo Interactive Webinars, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce, Marketo Engage and Openprise for lead tracking and campaign attribution.
Develop and maintain scalable processes and documentation for event tech workflows, integrations, and data governance.
Provide real-time technical support during events, including troubleshooting platform issues and ensuring a smooth attendee experience.
Analyze event performance data and generate actionable insights to improve future events and marketing campaigns.
Train internal stakeholders on event tech tools and best practices to ensure consistent usage and adoption.
Lead the evaluation and implementation of new event technologies and integrations to enhance attendee engagement and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations in all event tech and data capture activities.
Support campaign-related activities such as landing page creation, lead routing, and post-event nurture workflows using integrated platforms.
Partner with event operations, campaign leaders and data and analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting and ROI measurement across platforms.

Qualifications Expected for Position
4+ years of experience in event technology, marketing operations, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with CVENT (or equivalent platform).
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Hands-on experience with virtual event platforms and webinar tools, such as ON24, Zoominfo, Marketo Interactive Webinars, etc.
Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and data integration.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Preferred for Position
Hands-on experience with Salesforce and/or Marketo.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS or basic scripting for platform customizations a plus.
Certification in CVENT, Marketo, Salesforce a plus.
