Summary of Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our cybersecurity team as a Technical Program Manager II. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally across the organization on cybersecurity related initiatives and play a critical role in delivering cybersecurity capabilities to the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a background in program and project management and will have applied those skills to technical projects.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage the successful implementation of cybersecurity related initiatives, including:

    • Creating a project scope and project plan

    • Identifying required resources to successfully execute the plan

    • Providing oversight and tracking of progress against the plan

  • Identify risks and issues throughout the execution of the plan

  • Provide input to centralized status reporting and be able to present updates to Cybersecurity management

  • Communicate effectively to key stakeholders to ensure they are informed on progress, status, and any issues or risks that may have been identified.

  • Provide metrics that demonstrate the on-going progress of the project(s)

  • Assist in the development of key goals, objectives and success criteria for the projects.

  • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Develop plans, track, and manage the program schedule and task details included in the project plan(s).

  • Communicate and manage priorities with project teams

  • Ensures clear communication and alignment with stakeholders on project status, progress, risks, and issues

  • Contribute to the development of frameworks, templates, and repeatable processes for overseeing the execution of the projects

Qualifications Expected For Position

  • 4+ years of project management or program management experience, with some of the experience in a technical function (Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Engineering).

  • Proven track record of successfully managing technical projects from initiation to completion

  • BS degree in a technical field such as Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, related field or relevant work experience.

  • Experience in developing detailed plans for complex projects

  • Expertise with project management concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail

  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare and present reports to upper management

  • Experience collaborating on projects with geographically-dispersed team members
