Summary of Position
The Vice President Clinical Network (VP, CN) is the senior physician leader in Clinical Operations and serves as the dyad partner to the VP, Practice Operations, to insure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of virtual care services to members of Teladoc Health. The VP, CN is responsible for strategic planning, performance management, and execution of virtual care services by the provider network (employed and contracted) to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability. The VP, CN plays a critical role in transforming the care delivery model to one that is high quality, patient-centered, efficient, timely, equitable and safe, while advancing the organization’s position as the global leader in telehealth services. Together, the VP, CN and VP Practice Operations are responsible for guidance, direction and oversight of the regional leadership teams supporting care delivery in the US.
The VP, CN must be able to operate and execute in a complex functional and matrix management structure, working closely with internal and external constituents and stakeholders to execute the proposed care delivery strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Actively participate in the development and execution of Clinical Operations annual operating plan and execution against corporate and divisional metrics.
Partners with the VP of Practice Operations to drive accountability, optimize performance, and deliver results across the provider network.
In partnership with VP, Practice Operations, and organizational colleagues, works with the physician and operations leaders to drive exemplary member experience, provider experience, and team member engagement while driving the highest quality of care including prevention and primary care, acute care, and specialty care services.
Drives and champions key strategic initiatives across the provider network.
Foster a culture of measurement, performance, continuous improvement, accountability, and exemplary teamwork within Clinical Operations and across Teladoc Health.
Lead by creating a provider leadership culture that is responsive to the changing marketplace, values members and their families, recognizes the imperative of exceptional member experience, is cost effective and productive in the delivery of services to all members receiving care.
Develop a multi-year provider staffing and recruitment plan to meet current organizational demand and prepare for future growth and scale.
Lead the development of a provider culture focused on promoting excellence and driving the recruitment and retention of a high value provider network (employed and contracted). Hire, recruit, train and manage employed physicians
Work closely and effectively with the broader Clinical Operations team, Clinical Strategy, Clinical Quality and other cross-functional teams (i.e. IT, Finance, etc.…) to deliver overall operational excellence and exceptional clinical care.

Required Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active unrestricted license in state of residence
Board certified in ABMS or AOBMS recognized specialty
Minimum of 10 years of active clinical practice
Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical director role or other healthcare administrative position that includes leadership of physicians/ providers
8+ years of experience in a value-based care environment
8+ years of experience building and managed clinically integrated networks.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other Masters’ level degree in healthcare related field
Experience practicing in telemedicine/virtual care environment
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with providers, clinical staff, leaders and front-line team members at all levels of the organization
Exceptional track record in relationship building, facilitation, mediation, and consensus building
Must have demonstrated success in constructively resolving difficult issues in the provider community
Outstanding listening skills with an ability to take in all perspectives in an unbiased manner before facilitating decision

The base salary range for this position is $285,000 - $315,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
