Summary of Position

We’re seeking a Senior Workday Reporting Analyst to join our People Analytics team. In this role, you’ll build dashboards, develop clear visualizations, uncover key drivers in data, and promote self-service adoption through education and enablement.

This role combines deep technical Workday expertise, particularly in Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Talent and Payroll, with strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent stakeholder management skills. You’ll help translate business objectives into measurable outcomes and actionable insights.

What You’ll Be Doing
Workday Reporting and Analytics

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday Reporting, with deep expertise in global HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Payroll and Time & Absence
  • Design and build scalable reports and dashboards that are accurate, intuitive, and aligned to business needs.
  • Create and optimize calculated fields and composite reports to support complex reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with People, Process & Technology team to ensure reports and dashboards are aligned with Workday’s global security model
  • Design and manage complex Workday Prism datasets and dashboards; partner with stakeholders to bring in data from multiple external sources enable reporting beyond standard workday modules
  • Evaluate new Workday functionality and optimize reporting performance and strategy
  • Conduct data quality audits, investigate issues and implement improvements to strengthen data integrity

Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead medium/large-scale analytics projects, supporting cross-functional initiatives from planning to rollout
  • Lead reporting-related workstreams for system enhancements and releases, proactively assessing impacts of business process changes on reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver clear, well-structured solutions drive decision-making.
  • Drive self-service adoption by developing user guides, conducting training, and improving data literacy across teams
  • Partner closely with People, Process & Technology, Finance, Global HR, IT and and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and ensure data consistency across regions and systems

Qualifications:

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Psychology, Math, HR, Business, or similar)
  • 6+ years of experience in people analytics, or HRIS
  • 2-3 years of experience of reporting and analytics with Workday HCM
  • Strong proficiency in Workday reporting tools (Composite, Matrix, Advanced, Calculated Fields, and Prism)
  • Proven experience building reports and dashboards across key modules: Workday Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Payroll, and Absence
  • Experience working with global HR data and understanding region-specific reporting practices and compliance standards
  • Ability to translate business questions into reporting solutions and meaningful insights
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills for storytelling and stakeholder communications
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills in fast paced environments

What would be nice to have

  • Workday Pro certification in Reporting or Prism Analytics
  • Strong understanding for Workday’s global security model, including user-based and role-based permissions
  • Experience with Workday’s advanced features like Worksheets, Discovery Boards, and Slides
  • Proficiency in other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with statistical programming languages such as R or Python, and familiarity with methods such as regression analysis, statistical testing, or data modeling
