Summary of Position
We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design and implement multi-platform test automation strategies that ensure high product quality and fast release cycles. You’ll contribute to test framework development, UI and API automation, and CI integration, working alongside cross-functional teams. This is a role for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges with code and driving continuous improvement through innovation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in day-to-day QA automation activities, resolving a range of issues and proposing variations in approach.
Develop and execute test automation strategies using clean and scalable code to solve technical challenges and shorten test cycles.
Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks, tools, and technologies; devise solutions and write specialized testing tools as needed.
Collaborate with Development, QA, and DevOps to design and implement test and validation strategies.
Administer automation tools and support their ongoing use.
Document and communicate automation best practices or standards.
Estimate automation effort for internal and external deliverables.
Write specialized testing tools for our software platform, as needed.
Contribute to continuous integration (CI) pipelines and maintain automation within them.
Identify and implement improvements in QA processes and tooling.
The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.

Qualifications Expected for Position
4+ years’ experience as a Software QA Engineer.
Experience with UI test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright).
Experience with API testing (REST, gRPC) and automation tools.
Experience automating tests with Python, Java, Scala, or equivalent.
Solid knowledge of SQL, shell scripting and web (micro)services consumption.
Knowledge of continuous integration practices, preferably with tools like Jenkins, Hudson, or Bamboo.
Experience with automation framework (Robot, Cucumber, Behave).
Qualifications Preferred for Position
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-relevant field.
Experience with Robot Framework is preferred.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
