Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable (AP) function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role involves supervising a team of accounts payable specialists, managing payment cycles, and implementing internal controls. The Accounts Payable Supervisor ensures compliance with company policies and financial regulation, contributing to the efficient management of the company’s cash flow and financial operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operation of the accounts payable team, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor inquires.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors and service providers.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounts payable operations.

  • Prepare regular reports on accounts payable metrics, such as aging reports, payments cycles, and outstanding liabilities.

Skill Requirements/Preferences

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar sole.

  • Proficiency in accounting software.

  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, financial controls, and relevant regulations.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial processing and reporting,

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle complex issues.
