Summary of Position

The Senior HR Manager, Poland, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all HR functions for our Polish entity. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of HRBP and Talent Hubs, this role combines comprehensive HR management for the local workforce with strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) responsibilities. As the HR leader for Poland, the role will manage day-to-day HR operations, including compliance, onboarding, total rewards, and employee relations, while also serving as a strategic partner to the business. The Senior HR Manager will collaborate closely with the global HRBP team to ensure alignment with company-wide initiatives and provide insights that drive workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness in Poland.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Local Onboarding and Offboarding: Lead and manage onboarding and offboarding processes for all Polish employees, ensuring smooth transitions and positive employee experiences.

  • Policy Management: Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations, aligning them with global company policies where applicable.

  • Total Rewards: Oversee the local implementation of the company’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and performance incentives for Polish employees, in partnership with global HR Centers of Excellence (COEs).

  • Compliance and Legal: Ensure compliance with Polish labor laws and other relevant legislation by working closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and resolve employment-related issues.

  • HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations in Poland, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. Partner with the People Operations team to streamline processes, improve systems, and ensure alignment with global HR operations.

  • Workforce Planning: Support workforce planning and headcount management in Poland, in partnership with the global HRBP and Workplace teams, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and resource planning.

  • Change Management: Partner with the global HR team to drive organizational change and transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and communication across the Polish operations.

  • Performance Management: Lead and support global HR initiatives such as performance management, employee development, and talent reviews, ensuring they are tailored to local needs and implemented effectively.

  • Global HRBP Collaboration: Work closely with the global HRBP team to align HR initiatives, policies, and processes across the organization, providing local context and insights for the Polish operations.

  • Culture: Take the lead in fostering and maintaining a thriving, inclusive culture within the Polish entity. Partner with local employees and global HR colleagues to promote engagement and uphold company values. Act as a culture ambassador in all daily interactions.

  • Team Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with talent hub leaders in Argentina and India to ensure consistent HR practices across regions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and the broader HRBP group to align business objectives and share best practices globally.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • 15+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner (HRBP) role.

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with international exposure and ability to work across cultures.

  • In-depth knowledge of Polish employment law and labor regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.

  • Strong understanding of HR functions, policies, and best practices, including performance management and employee relations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach employees at all levels.

  • Fluent in both English and Polish, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience managing complex HR issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and restructures.

  • Demonstrated project management and change management skills, with the ability to lead HR initiatives independently.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
