Summary of Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team! To support sales efforts, the Proposal Writer will play a critical role in crafting compelling responses to solicitations [Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), vendor profiles, etc.]. This position requires a strong writer with project management skills who is able to clearly convey value as well coordinate layout and graphics to enhance proposal content. The Proposal Writer will be responsible for developing, writing, and editing high-quality responses, coordinating and managing RFP projects, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements, and highlighting value propositions and differentiators. A critical component of this position is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and complex environment where multiple stakeholders in different locations contribute to the response.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage writing with cross-functional teams, including sales, clinical, product, and technical experts to develop content. (15%)

• Prepare project plans and engage teams as needed to ensure RFP deadlines are met for information gathering, drafting, review, approvals, layout/design and delivery. (15%)
• Review, analyze, and communicate the requirements of RFPs and develop proposals accordingly, particularly highlighting value propositions and differentiators. (15%)
• Edit for correctness, compliance, clarity, consistency in voice, and adherence to Teladoc Health editorial style guidelines. (15%)
• Coordinate layout and graphics of the RFP. (5%)
• Protect Teladoc Health legal position by making sure all information in proposal packages accurately reflects our capabilities and complies with legal and regulatory guidelines. (5%)
• Create and maintain a library of proposal content, templates, and best practices. (10%)
• Participate in proposal strategy sessions to identify and articulate the value proposition and differentiators. (5%)
• Research and gather relevant information to support proposal development. (10%)
• Assist with special projects, as needed (5%)

Qualifications Expected for Position

• - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and three years of experience writing and managing proposals/ RFPs. Healthcare, science, biomedical or tech background is an asset.

• - Experience in project management, technical writing and in professional and business writing and revising.

• - Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills in English (French proficiency is an asset).

• - Excellent organizational skills (time management, priority setting, flexibility) and proven accuracy, discipline, and thoroughness.

• - Ability to handle pressure, multiple deadlines, several tasks simultaneously using critical judgement for priority management.

• - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate well with others under tight deadlines.

• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (CANVA, Adobe Suite is an asset).

• - Knowledge of content management software (Qorus, Loopio, Respsonsive or equivalent) is an asset.

• - APMP foundation certification a plus.
