Summary of Position
The Strategic Partnership Account Executive will generate income by nurturing and growing existing commercial partnership relationships. They will oversee day-to-day account servicing, acting as a liaison between Teladoc Health and a select group of partners that include benefit consultants, brokers, and healthcare engagement/wellbeing organizations. Through the Teladoc Health platform they will help our clients reduce costs and improve outcomes for plan-sponsored members.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop productive relationships with clients at all levels of the organization, internally and externally. They will need to be self-driven and have management capabilities for our high-energy, and fast-paced environment. They can work anywhere within the United States, enjoying Teladoc Health’s active, inclusive culture for remote employees. Approximately 30% travel will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow Teladoc Health’s relationship with our employer benefit consultants and national broker partners
  • Build and deepen our strategic relationships within your partner base, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise, including executive-level personnel
  • Expand the depth and breadth of Teladoc Health’s interaction within your partner base, driving revenue growth >1MM, and developing collaborative efforts focused on product expansion and market development
  • Increase Teladoc Health market share by supporting our field sales team in identifying and developing new opportunities within your partner base
  • Develop new opportunities to utilize data within your partnerships, thus quantifying Teladoc Health’s value proposition to the partner and to our shared employer clients
  • Develop an operating calendar, detailed account plan/forecast and account planning/mapping process for each of your partner accounts
  • Work closely with internal partners – including Product, Clinical, Data Science, Implementation, Reporting, Legal and Finance personnel – to deliver on Teladoc Health’s side of the strategic roadmap
  • Maximize and achieve revenue and margin goals while staying within the allocated budget
  • Manage and deliver on issue resolution and partnership satisfaction
  • Demonstrate a broad comprehension of employer benefit consultant/broker needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products, and technologies.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree BS/BA
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the employer healthcare benefit consultant/broker space
  • Demonstrated success with complex and strategic account management and/or sales experience
  • Interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, effective consultative style the ability to energize, communicate and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Project management experience, with the ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Experience working collaboratively with highly talented professionals
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Leadership experience and skill, with a vision for strategic partnerships

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
