Summary of Position

Under the general direction of Director, Operations Management, the Coordinator, Service Governance, Technical Operations will contribute to the overall success of the Technical Operations department, ensuring the teams are performing highly, operating efficiently at scale, and rating their work experience positively.

The Service Governance group accomplishes this by governing the people, process, and tool changes that impact the department as well as driving unified operational reporting to ensure successes can be measured.

The Coordinator, Service Governance, Technical Operations role will lead communication and reporting programs to ensure Tech Ops teams are prepared for operational changes as they go live, reporting out all in flight changes as well as interacting directly with the team members leading each initiative for weekly updates. This role will be expected to provide oversight and recommendations as changes are scoped, documented, approved, communicated, and monitored.

The Coordinator, Service Governance, Technical Operations will be responsible for communicating often with management and the entire Technical Operations department, developing a centralized communication hub for all Technical Operations initiatives. This includes representing Technical Operations in cross-departmental initiatives and corporate objectives such as the launch of new products.

As new products launch or current offerings are updated, this role will be a critical point of contact to ensure the implementation and support teams have the tools, process education, and communication necessary to be successful. This position requires excellent communication skills and critical thinking to ensure that all requirements are reviewed and potential solutions are thoughtfully designed, documented, and trained.

The Coordinator, Service Governance, Technical Operations acts with integrity and influences others with strategic vision and detailed operational knowledge. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Internal and cross-functional communication, reporting, representation, and change mgmt
    • Facilitate end to end change management (i.e. EOL or if product wants to makes a change, ensure downstream teams and clients are prepared)
    • Represent Technical Operations people, process, and tools in cross-departmental initiatives and corporate objectives
    • Hold accountability for approved operational changes to ensure the success of the organization, championing corporate goals alongside many interdepartmental teams
  • Attend to all audit and compliance efforts representing for Technical Operations
  • Provide insight and feedback on system and program improvements
  • Motivate team nurturing and individual development through clear objective setting, providing regular feedback on performance
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business code of ethics

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • SKILL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
    • Excellent organization skills. Proactively prioritize work with minimal direction, and effectively manage resources to meet objectives and deadlines
    • Establish and maintain relationships. Build trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
    • Knowledge of healthcare systems and relevant workflows
    • Skills in multi-tasking, problem resolution, planning and expediting workflow
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure to follow through on issues
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
    • Strong technical skills/ability to communicate effectively with the product development team and business stakeholders
    • Excellent change management skills (Lean Six Sigma training and certification a plus)
    • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and graphical presentation of data
  • EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    • 1-3 years of operations experience, preferred
    • BS/BA Required. Communication degree a strong plus
