Summary of Position

The Senior Resource Manager will play a pivotal role in the Operations of our Marketing Center of Excellence, ensuring optimal resource allocation and management to support our in-house end-to-end content production projects and teams. You will collaborate closely with project managers, department heads, and senior leadership to streamline workflows and maximize resourcing efficiency across all projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to ensure the right talent is assigned to projects based on skills, availability, and project requirements.

• Continuously monitor project timelines and adjust resource allocations as needed to optimize team productivity and project delivery.

• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to understand project scopes, timelines, and resource needs.

• Facilitate resource planning meetings and provide insights on resource availability and potential constraints.

• Forecast resource needs based on upcoming project pipelines and agency goals.

• Work with HR and senior management to address resource gaps through recruitment, freelancers, or training initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to streamline resource management processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

• Monitor team performance metrics to track resource allocation, utilization rates, and overall team performance.

• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on resource utilization and project performance.

Qualifications Expected for Position

• Bachelor's degree Preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field or matching career experience.

• 6-8 years of experience in resource management, project management, or operations within an advertising agency or a similar creative environment.

• Proven experience in a senior or managerial role overseeing resource management or operations, including managing teams and workflows.

• Extensive experience with project management tools and methodologies, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong skills in resource allocation, scheduling, and capacity planning to optimize team performance and project delivery.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, internal clients, and stakeholders.

• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions to improve resource utilization and efficiency.

• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve resource conflicts and workflow issues.

• Proficiency with resource management and project management software (e.g. Workfront, Jira, others).

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage relationships with creative ande development teams, internal clients, and other departments.

• High level of attention to detail to ensure accurate resource tracking and reporting.
