Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Accountant to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.

As a Bilingual Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

-Reflect the true image of the company through the financial statements.

-Ensure that there is a fluid relationship and that all standards, policies, and recommendations are applied.

-Achieve maximum efficiency, security, and robustness in accounting processes.

-Balance sheet accounts reconciliation process including Intercompany reconciliations.

- Preparation of local reports.

-General ledger data entry daily. You will collaborate with the monthly accounting closing.

-Preparation and posting of journal entries and Fix assets module.

-Acting as the escalation point for the most complex queries and the most sensitive stakeholders.

-Contributing to General Ledger process improvement initiatives. Identifying and solving common cross-process (PTP, OTC, RTR) issues. Identify areas that will benefit from process improvements to propose to the Supervisor.

-Assisting in the preparation of statutory account packs.

-Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial, questions/concerns to meet business needs.

-Ensure that the Travel Expenses comply with the company policies.

-Maintain excellent contact with suppliers.

-Maintaining accurate records and providing documentation for auditing and tax reporting purposes

Skill Requirements:

-1-3 years of experience as a General Ledger specialist or similar role.

-Understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP/GL/AR principles.

Education Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree or Professional Training (FP) in Accountancy, Business, Economics or similar.
