Senior, Accountant will perform accounting work involving financial accounting and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and account for Accruals / COGS / Prepaids/ Payroll

  • Prepare and post journal entries required to reflect the financial transactions of the Company

  • Prepare and file necessary supporting documentation for journal entries

  • Review, audit, and code AP bills

  • Prepare account reconciliations for assigned accounts, including required documentation and support to comply with internal controls and SOX

  • Support external and internal audits

  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

  • Perform special accounting and financial projects as assigned

  • Research technical accounting issues

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Fluent English (B2-C1)

  • Experience with medium to large ERP system preferred (Oracle / D365)

  • Advance knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

  • Understanding of SOX control requirements is preferred

  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

  • Comfortable working in environments with high degree of change

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to work or overlap with U.S. hours

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days per week, office location - ul. Chłodna 51)
