As an Sr. Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in the reporting and forecasting of Revenue and Operating Expenses for the U.S. Group Health (USGH) business. Our FP&A team supports this USGH business-unit in various aspects of financial support. This key role will develop and maintain complex financial spreadsheets to model key financial information, such as, but not limited to, client P&L (Profit and Loss) statements, commissions forecasting, corporate direct vs. allocated expenses, month-end revenue and expense results, and various ad-hoc analyses. You should have both a solid foundation in finance and you will regularly be collaborating alongside accounting, financial reporting, and the commercial team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Own and assist in monthly reporting of USGH client, channel, and product-level financials
  • Own and assist in month-end results, which reports on previous actuals in comparison to forecast and budget expectations
  • Own and assist in maintaining forecast updates to provide latest projections and outlooks for expense
  • Research and provide greater insight and expertise to allocated corporate costs.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term ranges.
  • Preform other financial analyses, modeling, as needed.
  • Eliminate redundancies and reconcile discrepancies. Capitalize on opportunities to automate manual work.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses to support overall growth of the business

Qualifications

  • High proficiency in Excel including advanced formulas and modeling
  • High proficiency to read, write, and converse in English
  • Ability to work or overlap with U.S. hours
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ years in expense management and/or P&L reporting
  • Experience in Oracle EPBCS or EPM, Smartview, Salesforce or Tableau is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on your own and self-manage priorities and deadlines
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen
