As a key member of Sourcing Department, the Lead Sourcing Specialist will be directly responsible for driving all aspects of day-to-day sourcing activities including but not limited to lifecycle process, validating Quality Assurance prerequisites for contract execution and Contract/Order generation. The Lead Sourcing Specialist will be keenly focused on maximizing savings and optimizing Teladoc Health’s supplier base. This role will be integrating closely with our Supplier Sourcing & Management Compliance teams to ensure the seamless onboarding and compliance screening of suppliers. Supporting responsibilities include strategic sourcing, managing supplier relationships and negotiation, qualifying business use cases, and securing all pertinent documentation & audit records ahead of contract/signature executions.

This will be a highly visible role within our organization, as you will collaborate with key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure contract delivery and deadlines for business continuity. You will be keenly focused on continually improving our SLA with internal business partners and external suppliers.

Role and Responsibilities:

-Reporting directly to the Sourcing Director, the Lead Sourcing Specialist, will be responsible for operating within Teladoc´s core Sourcing competencies, with emphasis on managing SLA over the S2P/P2P life cycle, consolidating Teladoc Health´s supplier base, implement sourcing strategies, ensuring continuity of supplies/services, negotiate with suppliers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize operations while ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance and quality service, all of which are required to meet the business needs.

-As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will partner with business teams across the organization to qualify use case(s), negotiate commercial terms, ensure compliance requirements and maintain internal service levels to the business.

Skill Requirements:

-Develop and execute sourcing strategies, best practices and initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

-Coordinate all sourcing and contracting activities within assigned service categories including negotiation of on-contract pricing issues, ongoing portfolio and contract maintenance, ensuring term and condition compliance across various suppliers.

-Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, and managing supplier performance through regular reviews.

-Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, service levels, warranties, and contractual agreements.

-Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and other procurement-related documents.

-Monitor contract performance and implement contract renewals or terminations as required.

-Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, and Operation management teams, to understand their requirements and align sourcing strategies with business needs.

-Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement processes, policies, and best practices. Developing and maintaining effective communication channels to ensure stakeholders are informed about procurement activities, changes, and supplier performance.

-Identify opportunities for process and operational improvements to increase efficiencies and maximize spend opportunity.

-Actively seek ways to streamline business processes, finding growth or change opportunities within the existing supply chain.

Education Requirements:

-A bachelor’s degree in business management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management (or related field) from an accredited university or college.
