To be equitable to all Literatians, we have a set compensation and a non-negotiation policy- we don't think a person’s pay should be determined by how comfortable they are negotiating. As a result, we like to be transparent and up-front about the compensation.
Think of your favorite book from childhood. Got it? Great. Now, that warm, joyful feeling you have right now—that’s what we do. Literati is a modern children’s book company focused on helping kids fall in love with reading at every age and stage. We make it easy to find great books through our school book fairs, school store fundraising platform, and book clubs using a unique mix of expert curation and data science. We’re on a mission to help parents ignite a love of learning and a love of life.
As a Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Engineer, you’ll be in the center where all data roads meet. By bringing in disparate source systems’ data and relating it, you’ll enable a comprehensive view of the business. You’ll consult with operational teams and data scientists and build SQL models and Sigma reports to inform high-value decisions. You will be a key player in bringing order to apparent chaos.
If so inclined, you’ll also help in the effort to consolidate and standardize our machine learning (ML) pipelines and help manage our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytical resources.
This position spans the breadth of business intelligence and data engineering – from requirements gathering to pulling source data to relating it in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) models to building reports.
