The new combined national footprint will serve more than 250,000 properties, facilitate approximately 2.5 million repair and maintenance orders, and complete nearly 20,000 renovation and turn projects per year. Lessen has quickly evolved from exciting startup to valued partner, delivering scalable and turnkey property services to our clients.
The Director of Marketing manages day to day operational activities of the marketing department. They will be responsible for partnering with sales leadership to support development and execution of a strategic marketing plan that includes sales enablement, digital marketing, content marketing, thought leadership, events management, industry partnerships, product marketing, and more.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with sales to understand customer segmentation and specific account targets; help build and support execution of a multi-tiered ABM strategy
- Collaborate with sales and other marketing team members to oversee execution of marketing campaigns
- Work cross functionally with other departments (Product and Operations) to determine relevant marketing needs
- Execute a strategic roadmap that includes multiple initiatives across key marketing channels
- Oversee marketing operations and reporting and quantify key metrics and ROI across various marketing channels
- Orchestrate event marketing initiatives for both in-person and virtual experiences
- Determine specific marketing automation tools that can be leveraged throughout the team
- Support the company website, blog, and all social channels as needed
- Approve and oversee partnerships with industry and third-party partners as needed
- Identify, prioritize, and direct the creation of critical sales enablement assets
- Support design, scope, and build of the annual budget
- Prioritize changing priorities of the organizations initiatives as needed
- Help identify trends and oversee competitive intelligence initiatives, coordinating with the team
- ·Foster a positive team environment
Role Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of various marketing channels (emails, social, paid, direct mail, SEO, etc.)
- Computer Skills: Advanced proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- System Experience: Experience with WordPress, Google analytics and the top social channels, Adobe, Social tools, Salesforce, HubSpot, and other marketing automation tools
- People Management Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in building, growing, and developing a team; including department structure design and resourcing
- Advanced proficiency in all people management processes, including recruitment, performance management and reward
- Advanced proficiency in coaching and developing individual team members to reach their potential
- Proficient in engaging multiple teams through communication, processes, personal impact and influence
You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Writing, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 10 or more years of experience in a marketing function (sales enablement / sales support function)
- 5 or more years of progressive management experience required
