About the job
As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Lean, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the company. Your work will uncover powerful insights that shape strategy, provide essential visibility to create alignment, and contribute to business growth. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation—including Engineering, Product, Commercial, and more—to understand their data needs, then translate those into KPI dashboards and analyses that empower them to make informed, impactful decisions based on real data.
This role goes beyond just analysing metrics—it’s about identifying what truly influences business success. You’ll take raw data and transform it into meaningful insights, enhancing data literacy across the organisation, and ensuring teams have the information they need to excel. You’ll refine data processes, build dashboards, and communicate findings in a way that resonates with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights will be instrumental in helping Lean continue to evolve and innovate.

What you’ll do
Build and maintain dashboards to track key business metrics.
Conduct data analysis to generate insights that support decision-making across multiple teams including the executive leadership team.
Produce reports on product, client, and business performance, presenting insights in a digestible format for a diverse audience and telling compelling stories with data.
Support data infrastructure improvements and manage ETL jobs to enhance data querying efficiency and accuracy.

Automate data processes to improve operational efficacy and data integrity.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in SQL & Python.
Proven experience in data analytics and generating business insights.
Familiarity with analytics engineering and data transformation tools.
Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights, having the empathy to understand how to get your message across to a variety of stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication with an apt for telling stories with data.
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. You’re someone who loves to connect the dots and make sense of chaos.
Insatiable curiosity. You’re eager to learn, discover new findings, and understand how these fit into the bigger picture.
