We are seeking an ambitious, outcome-driven Business Development Executive to play a key role in further growing Lean's business in KSA. Working closely with our Country Manager, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial activities. Lean enables companies to seamlessly connect to their users’ bank accounts to initiate real-time payments and retrieve their account information. Our products have garnered the trust of leading companies and enabled them to deliver powerful experiences when connected with a user’s bank account, allowing users to perform prudent financial planning, get better rates on loans, transfer money to friends, and more, without compromising on privacy or security.

Some of Lean’s clients include the likes of Tabby, Nayifat, Tamam, Circlys, and many more, making it the region’s most valuable Open Banking platform. The company has now processed over a billion dollars, and its products are also connected with hundreds of thousands of accounts. Lean envisions a fully inclusive financial ecosystem that serves everyone, no matter where they bank or live in the MENA region.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Ops

    • Events & Conferences: supporting with organizing events, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth execution.

  • Product Marketing / Marketing:

    • Arabic content: supporting with Arabic content creation and translation

  • Support to the BD team:

    • Communications: Drafting emails, memos, presentations, and other materials to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders, as well as lead operational support to the team.

    • Support with requests from leadership, related to understanding the market, new trends and competitors.

  • Commercial

    • Market mapping: support sales with conducting comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities

    • Others: Take an active role in obtaining & summarizing market data (such as competitor pricing), analyzing our own data, identifying key trends, and creating comprehensive reports and presentations that provide clear recommendations.

    • Supporting the commercial operations with OKRs, commercial reports, and insights based on internal commercial processes.

  • Product:

    • Collaborate closely with Joaquin and Marti to obtain & summarize valuable insights into customer preferences and expectations, as well as relevant market information on products of our competitors / alternatives.

    • Support with new product launches, recording demos, and user journeys.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior experience working within a Business Development or Commercial Operations role within a tech enabled business

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Finance

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Excellent English language skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Fintech ecosystem in KSA
