This role would help build the distributed system that allows our engineering teams to deploy our platform in multiple geographies across various deployment solutions. The position will closely work with our functional Heads within the software, QA and product teams to deliver scalable and customisable release pipelines.
Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize complex distributed systems to ensure scalability and reliability.
Continuously enhance observability and monitoring systems to proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring high performance.
Troubleshoot complex issues, reduce operational toil, and automate repetitive tasks to streamline operations.
Provide leadership and set technical direction for engineering projects, acting as a subject matter expert in areas such as IaC, observability, automation or system design.
Collaboration skills – working across teams to drive change and provide guidance
Lead incident response efforts, quickly resolve critical issues, and conduct post-incident reviews to minimize future impact.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles, with at least 8+ years in IT overall, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
Proven experience in senior or lead DevOps/SRE roles including leading teams or mentoring engineers and driving technical direction.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, scalable, and reliable DevOps solutions that meet business needs.Proven experience in lead DevOps/SRE or simial roles, including leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Excellent ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Ruby) with strong scripting skills in Bash for automation.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI), including their services and architecture.
Extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Pulumi, with a strong focus on automating infrastructure management and provisioning.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm charts for container orchestration and deployment in cloud environments.

MultiCloud/Hybrid Cloud experience
Experience with implementing and working within security frameworks, such as Zero Trust architecture, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), or compliance standards relevant to FinTech and other regulated industries (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2, CIS, GDPR).
