  • Experience working with or for MSSPs, vendors, or technology providers in the security operations field

  • Familiarity with key SecOps technologies such as DLP, EDR, Email Protection, Privileged Access Management.

  • Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to analyze customer needs, create solutions, and contribute meaningfully to partner or customer success

  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment

  • A proactive, commercially minded approach suited to a business development overlay role focused on market expansion

  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills to evaluate complex problems to find a systematic approach to gain a quick resolution.

  • Ability to present and communicate with a large audience with a good level of influence.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, with a team-first mindset.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research to identify new trends, evolving customer needs, and growth opportunities in the SecOps space

  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies focused on relevant verticals and customer segments for security operations solutions

  • Monitor market activity to ensure Fortinet solutions are well positioned against emerging threats and industry shifts

  • Identify and engage prospective customers and build a high-quality sales pipeline focused on SecOps technologies

  • Develop and nurture relationships with enterprise clients, technology partners, and cybersecurity professionals to support long-term growth

  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to guide opportunities to closure, contribute to negotiations, and ensure a positive customer experience

  • Meet or exceed agreed revenue goals by promoting Fortinet’s SecOps portfolio

  • Establish productive partnerships with resellers, global system integrators (GSIs), managed security service providers (MSSPs), and other technology collaborators with a strong emphasis on channel engagement and enablement

  • Engage in customer conversations to understand business challenges, delivering value-based presentations, proposals, and demonstrations

  • Contribute to territory planning and account strategy, aligning with regional goals and growth targets.

  • Partner with product, marketing, engineering, and analyst teams to shape product improvements and support continuous market relevance

  • Participate in key industry events, conferences, and forums to stay current on trends and strengthen Fortinet’s presence in the SecOps ecosystem

  • Champion Fortinet’s SecOps portfolio across DLP, EDR, FortiMail Workspace, FortiPAM, and incident response services to drive broader market adoption.
