Job Title: NOC Operations Expert

Locations: Kelsterbach, Frankfurt- Germany or Prague – Czech Republic/ office based contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, operate and optimize Fortinet cybersecurity solutions to ensure that security measures align with Fortinet's recommended practices and perform optimally.

• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and security concerns, while evaluating potential risks to their data, software, and hardware infrastructure.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of customers' business operations and technological needs to provide tailored solutions.

• Own service requests, ensuring their prompt and efficient execution within designated SLAs.

• Monitor performance, capacity, and security threats for managed devices.

• Troubleshoot problems and provide corrective actions to restore operations.

• Implement and execute defensive strategies to address cybersecurity breaches and events, safeguarding critical information assets, data repositories, and system infrastructure.

• Produce regular reports to summarize service activity and performance.

• Develop core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologies with a primary focus on FortiGate, FortiManager and LAN Edge devices.

Skills and Attributes Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP, routing and switching
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on sys admin experience on security products and technologies (e.g. Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, VPN, ZTNA)
  • Previous experience on Fortinet products is an advantage
  • The role involves working in the office 4 days per week, with a shift schedule that includes regular weekend work.
  • Effective and clear communication skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English and knowledge of local language is a distinct advantage
  • Positive customer-oriented attitude

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Network Operations Center
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • Fortinet certification FCP-FCSS a distinct advantage
  • No visa candidates on this occasion
