The Role:

• Oversee and manage tax compliance for the US entity operating in the Netherlands, coordinate with external advisors

• Manage Dutch and EU VAT compliance related to warehousing and sales into the Netherlands and other EU jurisdictions,

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, declarations and related documentation

• Support indirect tax treatment of cross border goods movements, including customs and import VAT considerations

• Monitor changes in US, Dutch, and EU tax legislation affecting the business

• Proactively identify tax risks and opportunities and provide practical recommendations to stakeholders

• Support tax audits, inquiries, and information requests from tax authorities

• Identify opportunities to automate tax processes, improve controls and enhance data accuracy, leveraging AI tools

• Act as a key point of contact for internal teams (AR, Trade Compliance, Operations, Legal) on compliance matters of the activities in the Netherlands

• Partner with EMEA Statutory Reporting, Accounts Payable and General Ledger teams on projects requiring tax input and with IT on any system enhancements

Skills / Experience:

• Qualified tax professional (e.g. CPA, CTA, ACA, or local equivalent)

Experience managing tax compliance for a US entity selling into the Netherlands and/or EU

• Strong knowledge of cross border and international tax concepts

• Experience with indirect tax issues related to warehousing and logistics

• Experience of using AI tools desirable

• Strong understanding of ORACLE or similar ERP systems.

• Effective project management and prioritisation skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively across diverse, multinational teams.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
