We are currently seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales System Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
You would act as the key Systems Engineer to work closely with a sales representative in south India to handle technology savvy accounts. The Systems Engineer's main mission will be to understand customer’s business & technology requirement, propose Fortinet solutions to address technology/business issues/challenges/requirement, working closely with account manager and support technically to achieve common goal
As a Pre-Sales System Engineer you will:
Play an integral role in new business solution pitches, foster long-term relationships, to achieve enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions and deliver meaningful results for all parties involved.
- Pre-sales –
- Assist in qualifying opportunities from a technical standpoint.
- Understand Customer Network Architecture, technology requirement, business requirement and propose appropriate Fortinet Solution.
- Present Fortinet technical Solution, benefits, and Fortinet solution’s value to CISOs/CXO/CIO
- Take ownership of POV end to end, understand requirement, creating test cases, conduct test cases in POC, create POC documentation, present POV results to customer.
- Educate customer on Fortinet product/solution features, use case.
- Learn new Product/solutions/Integration and apply learning in conversation with customers.
- Technical SPOC for identified Accounts, Work effectively with SME, Sales and Technical Support Team.
- Drive technical conversation with customer technical team.
- Prepare competitive differentiation
- Provide technical expertise, training and oversight to channel partners as required
- Prepare complex architecture design, system engineering configuration, SOPs & Case studies
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of Cyber security solutions and the relevant industry
- Clearly articulate technical elements of the Fortinet value proposition to customers and partners
- Foster a collaborative, team-based environment, sharing best practices and building lasting relationships

- NGFW, Wired & Wireless Lan, SDWAN, NAC, Authentication
- Cloud and Application Security : CNAPP, DSPM, Web Application Firewall, Mail Security, NGFW deployment in public Cloud
- Endpoint : End Point Protection, SASE, ZTNA, EDR
- SOC: SIEM, SOAR, Deception, NDR, External attack surface
- Knowledge of Fortinet Products / Solution and its competition.
- Should be able to do the POC to demonstrate the Fortinet Solutions to customers.
- Good communication and presentation skill.
