Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced OT Security Solution Architect to work with OT Regional team and collaborate with OT Global team to support Operational Technology & Critical Infrastructure customers and partners across the region. The role will focus on designing, positioning, and architecting cybersecurity solutions for Operational Technology (OT) environments across critical infrastructure and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of OT domain knowledge and cybersecurity expertise, enabling them to translate operational requirements into secure, scalable architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Solution Architect for OT Cybersecurity, supporting presales, solution design, and customer engagements from technical stand-point and assist in qualifying sales leads.
- Design and develop OT cybersecurity reference architectures aligned with industry best practices, compliances, regulations and standards mapping Fortinet Products.
- Enabling technical resources on sales calls and answer/educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications, and functionality to the integration of Fortinet’s products for Operational Technology and Critical Infrastructure Security Solutions.
- Stitch end-to-end security solutions across IT–OT environments, addressing network segmentation, remote access, visibility, threat protection & various OT security use-cases.
- Support creation and response to RFPs / RFIs / technical proposals related to OT security initiatives as per Fortinet’s OT security solution stack.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Systems Engineers and SMEs within OT & CI to build future RA’s & to build and develop the capabilities on OT security.
- Modify RA network security design and implementation guidance internally and externally to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Support team with OT security audits, OT security assessments and risk assessments, compliance assessment identifying gaps and recommending remediation roadmaps.
- Work closely with sales, business development, and delivery teams to support large and strategic deals.
- Lead and participate in customer workshops, architecture discussions, and technical presentations.
- Enable Partner eco-system on Fortinet’s OT Security solution stack by delivering trainings and organizing work-shops.
- Stay updated with OT threat landscape, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-8 years of experience, in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer in cybersecurity.
5-7 years of experience, with strong hands-on exposure to OT / industrial environments/Industrial Control Systems/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition environments.

Solid understanding of OT cybersecurity concepts, including:
Network segmentation
Secure remote access for industrial systems
Asset visibility & monitoring
Risk-based OT security architectures
Common OT Protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC etc.) and PCAP Analysis
Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus used in the Purdue model
Good understanding of cybersecurity solutions and platforms, and ability to integrate multiple technologies into a cohesive architecture.
Experience in creating reference architectures, solution designs, and technical documentation on OT security.
Hands-on experience in OT security assessments is strongly preferred.
Good understanding of NERC-CIP, CEA and other regional and global standards and regulations.
Prior exposure to industries such as power & utilities, renewable energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or critical infrastructure is an advantage.
Certifications (Preferred)
IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert
GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
Other relevant OT / cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related fields).
