As a Major Account Manager Federal, you will:

The candidate will be responsible for the development of the Shared Services Canada (SSC) business with large SI’s recently initiated with IBM and Kyndryl with clear goals to grow to include other large SI, Managed Service, Consulting partners and large Defense contractors. This partner profile will be paramount in securing the future of Federal GoC business and large enterprise customers across the country, benefitting other Canadian markets, especially Critical Infrastructure including FinServ, Energy, Manufacturing, Resource, Transport etc, markets largely untouched currently.

This will involve the consistent timely liaison with the Cyber partners and leadership teams at IBM and Kyndryl in Canada and globally as this model is being considered for adoption across all geos at Fortinet and within IBM and Kyndryl. The incumbent will establish growth targets within IBM and Kyndryl and set targets with other SI’s etc to grow this new elite partner base necessary for Fortinet to establish in growing Federal business within Canada and across the Five-Eyes.

The candidate will also be responsible for improving relationships and securing revenue targets for the Canadian Intelligence Community in the GoC comprised of CSE, CCCS and CSIS. Close relationships with large SI’s such as IBM and Kyndryl and possessing a TS clearance will not only aid in reaching this objective but will be a firm requirement.

You will own along with the Director Federal Sales and SSC MAM all ongoing strategic management of large-scale and complex transformational programs with IBM, Kyndryl and other new elite partners that support Fortinet’s Federal Government of Canada business.

You are responsible for the development, management and evaluation of all goals, strategies and outcomes to achieve the overall vision, and will direct the strategic planning process and implementation through well-established stakeholder, client and partner relationships. You develop intimate understandings of functional requirements, organizational design and governance structures that are unique in the GoC.

You are a strategic leader with experience developing and driving strategic direction and understand political sensitivities and organizational priorities with the ability to draw connections to long-term vision and goals to enable user success.

We Are Looking For:

  • Seasoned understanding of Government of Canada, and the GoC Intelligence Community of CSE. CCCS and CSIS
  • Strong longstanding trusted relationships with IBM, Kyndryl, Bell, CGI, Accenture
  • Strategic leadership Strong technical and cyber proficiency
  • Strong communications, program management and organization skills
  • Coordination between client, partner and extended Fortinet team including Engineering, Sales, Product Management, Finance and Legal
  • Large contract management skills and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and mediation skills influencing partner and client to a win-win-win attitude
  • Strong revenue generation history, discipline and focus
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years selling enterprise network security products and services

EDUCATION

BS or equivalent experience
