The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring from start to finish - the delivery of medium complexity projects on time and according to the negotiated Scope of Work. The Program Manager's is expected to manage a virtual team comprising; Customer Contacts, Fortinet Sales, Professional Services and Technical Support to ensure a technically sound, financially profitable, supportable implementation. The position requires an individual with exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills who follows a structured approach for implementing IT security solutions.

The Program Manager should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds strong relationships to understand the needs and requirements of the customer's projects.
  • Manage the relationship with the customers and all stakeholders Develops, negotiates and builds a Scope of Work, WBS and project schedules to match the needs of the projects.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities - ensures resource availability and allocation in alignment with project plans.
  • Works closely with all customer-facing Fortinet functions, including sales, operations, order management, support to coordinate activities.
  • Coordinates internal resources and resources from outsourced part of the projects (where applicable) for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage escalations with all levels internally and externally to achieve success.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive projects documentation.
  • Effectively applies Fortinet's methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Perform risk management to minimizes Fortinet's exposure and risk on projects.
  • Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
  • Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
  • Facilitates team and customers meetings effectively.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Job Requirements:

  • Around 5 years in similar position.
  • Technical understanding of security and networking projects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills include attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Outstanding negotiation, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with global enterprises, MSSP, carrier and governmental customers.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • React to projects adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Flexible during times of change.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong commitment and self-driven individual.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or management discipline and/or equivalent work-related experience.
  • PMP and/or PRINCE II certification would be a plus

The Professional Services Program Manager works with customers or partners remotely and/or onsite on engagements of medium complexity projects related to their Fortinet’s estate. Program managers are skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they oversee.
