Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business in France with a strategic focus on Application Security. You would act as the key Account Manager for Application Security engagements across cloud environments, driving growth through a land-and-expand strategy in an established market.
As a Business Development Manager – Cloud, you will:
• Drive new business acquisition and expansion within existing accounts, focusing on Fortinet’s Application Security solutions delivered via cloud.
• Execute a land-and-expand strategy across enterprise and mid-market customers, leveraging SaaS-based solution selling.
• Prospect and hunt for new opportunities, identifying key stakeholders and building long-term relationships.
• Collaborate within a matrixed sales environment, partnering with Sales Engineers, Channel Managers, and other internal teams to deliver customer success.
• Navigate complex buying cycles and position Fortinet’s value proposition effectively across technical and business audiences.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and ensure accurate forecasting and CRM discipline in Salesforce.
• Deliver tailored proposals and presentations that align Fortinet’s solutions with customer needs and business outcomes.
• Leverage internal technical resources to support solution design and delivery. Deep cloud expertise is not required, but comfort operating in cloud-centric environments is essential.
• Contribute to territory planning and account strategy, aligning with regional goals and growth targets.
We Are Looking For:
An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:
• Proven experience in land-and-expand sales strategies within an established market.
• Strong track record in prospecting and hunting for new business, ideally in SaaS or cybersecurity environments.
• Familiarity with application security and selling into cloud-native or hybrid environments.
• Proven experience in selling Application Security solutions like ADC, WAF, DDOS, CNAPP, Cloud Firewall.
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed organization, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-first mindset.
• Adept at understanding customer environments and aligning solutions to business outcomes - even without deep technical expertise, you know how to orchestrate the right resources to win.
