Software QA Engineer - 2

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong Python scripting expertise, solid debugging skills, and hands-on experience in automation testing. The role involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing regression tests, and collaborating closely with QA and Development teams to ensure high-quality product releases. Knowledge of L2/L3 networking will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Enhance existing automation setups for better efficiency, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
• Execute test automation, analyze results, and provide clear reporting.
• Collaborate with QA/Dev teams to reproduce and debug issues.
• Participate in test planning, scripting, execution, and defect management.
• Document automation code and processes for future reference.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 4–8 years in QA automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python (mandatory).
• Exposure to Selenium, Cucumber; knowledge of Ansible, JMeter is a plus.
• Experience with UI and REST API automation (preferred).
• Good knowledge of wired networking / L2-L3 protocols is desirable.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies, version control, and defect management tools.
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
