Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer, acting as a trusted advisor and security specialist
  • Highly dkilled delivering high-impact presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops
  • Clearly articulate Fortinet's value proposition accordingly of the customer vertical and needs.
  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements, including planning, deployment, testing, and documentation.
  • Solid understanding in security solutions for Public Cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba, GPC, etc.
  • Solid understanding in Software as a Service solutions environment, protection, orchestration or multi-vendor integrated deployment.
  • Highly Experienced in Cybersecurity Frameworks like NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, Cyber Kill Chain.
  • Exceptional skillset in networking/security solutions, such as Routing & Switching solutions & Protocols, VPN Technologies, Firewall, SDWAN, Reconnaissance Techniques, UEBA, application security, Email Security, SASE, Zero Trust Access, Threat Intelligence (EDR/XDR), NGSOC
  • Solid understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, IPSEC, 802.1Q, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
  • Highly Experienced with authentication and Identity Management (LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, OAuth, MFA)

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Collaborative work with Sales Representative to understand customer requirements and design solutions.
  • Effectively carry out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, demo, positioning, presenting, etc.).
  • Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with the customer, from the initial RFIs, through to RFPs & RFQs when required.
  • Actively participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs and POC demo.
  • Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
  • Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
  • Understudy customer requirements, environment and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Support teams to ensure smooth project handover.
  • Offer post-sales assistance and following, for escalations and customer satisfaction, to answer, elevate and resolve customer's technical issues.
