Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provides human resources consultation, coaching and advise to client group leaders across all aspects of HR to build engaged high performing teams, a diverse and inclusive environment and a great place to work.
- Provides HR partnership and counsel to business leaders and Fortinet employees, ensuring employee advocacy and fairness
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to influencing and advising key stakeholders in client group for building organizational capability and effectiveness
- Primary point of contact for HR related activities and program in client business groups
- Collaborates with HR & business leaders to ensure HR initiatives are directly aligned with business goals
- Support leadership teams through all Talent management processes including compensation & total rewards, talent development, performance management, change management, conflict management etc.
- Collaborate & partner with other HR team functions (Recruitment, HR Ops, Total Rewards, Learning & Development etc.) to inform and implement HR initiatives
- Support and act to foster diversity and inclusion
Requirements:
- Four or more years’ experience as a HR Business Partner in an Engineering/ High Technology company
- Proven knowledge and experience with human resources best practices and BC employment law
- Proven track record of establishing relationships across all levels of staff and developing strong stakeholder credibility
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build collaborative relationships in the work environment
- Experience using Human Resource Management System (eg Oracle HCM)
- Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work in a hyper growth tech company
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and strong ability to be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- High level of personal integrity
The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $85000 - $120000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
