Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to join our FP&A team. This role is critical to providing business leaders with financial insights and strategic recommendations that drive growth. This position will be a key contributor in developing, improving, and maintaining our FP&A modeling, system, reporting processes and data analytics. You will be a subject matter expert for our planning and reporting solution. You will drive the development of scalable reporting processes and analytics that provide business insights into metrics and trends, which are relevant and digestible to senior leadership team and business partners.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving financial reporting processes, modeling, reporting, and analysis through BI technologies. You can pair strong system and reporting knowledge, enjoy building models and reports, and is operationally minded and innovative. You will also partner with our business leaders to drive growth and develop insights to improve trajectories.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly/monthly forecasting and analysis processes, and be responsible for internal financial reporting and data accuracy
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis on trends and key business drivers
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate scenarios and initiatives
  • Design and build financial reports and models using various reporting tools
  • Foster a data driven environment and be able to tell stories with data, as well as using your skill to surface insights through analytics and visualizations
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting package that includes comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboard reporting and analysis of key trends highlighting financial performance and business insights
  • Support the preparation of Audit Committee, Guidance and management financial presentations and deliverables
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A tools and systems and identify automation opportunities
  • Lead ad hoc projects

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields; Advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with different teams and leaders
  • Familiar with enterprise financial systems and data analytic tools such as Hyperion Cloud, Oracle Financial Applications and Tableau
  • Attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex data into insights
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high growth and fast paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience supporting service organizations
  • Experience with data mining using SQL and advance use of BI tools like Tableau and Power BI, as well as leveraging AI and automation tools a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and results oriented with a track record demonstrating strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to think strategically and operate effectively with the management team and other business partners
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing shifting priorities, achieving effective results within tight deadlines, and working across diverse & fast-paced assignments
  • Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $100,000 - $175,000 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
