This role entails leading an interdisciplinary team of technical writers</span> <span style="font-weight:400;"> focused on developing and maintaining the customer and developer documentation that allow Lacework users to fully realize the value of our product. </span> <span style="font-weight:400;"></span> <span style="font-weight:400;">You and your team will be responsible for collaborating with partners and leaders across platform teams to craft and define meaningful documentation for the platform, understand the upstream and downstream system dependencies of these teams, and ensure that the documentation team's efforts are aligned with the product roadmap for our customers.</span> </p> <p> <strong>What You Will Accomplish</strong> </p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of technical writers at varying levels of experience; lead creative and integrated thinking across diverse product releases and ship documentation improvements that enhance our security platform.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Plan and implement long-term strategic initiatives within docs and be able to drive that strategy with engineering teams, product, and higher-level doc stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with a variety of fields (Engineering, Marketing, CS) inside and outside the core product team to efficiently implement user focused content that is cohesive, well-informed, and build on touchpoints that support users.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Be responsible for and effectively advocate for users, imparting day-to-day documentation leadership that fosters a shared understanding of the user-centric intersection between content, business, apdesign, and engineering.</span></li> </ul> <p> <span style="font-weight:400;">The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful Technical Documentation and Content Management experience projects in a SaaS context. Experience with B2B products, particularly cloud or security products, is a bonus.</span> </p> <p> <strong>What You Will Bring</strong> </p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">+7 years of technical documentation experience.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">+3 years of experience managing or leading technical documentation teams</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Dynamic, innovative individual with a solid knowledge of documentation design and delivery best practices.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Have a strong understanding of content design, interactive media, and information architecture.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Research, propose and implement customer-specific documentation solutions. Proactively drive customer learning efforts and engage with our users.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex docs decisions clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Must have demonstrated success in both project management and team management.</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"> <p>Lacework is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
