At Lacework, we are working to practically advance the skills and knowledge of all our employees. Learning programs and employee onboarding are critical components of building our culture and developing skills through our normal business rhythms. We’re searching for an experienced learning and development professional who has run and is passionate about building, executing and scaling learning programs and onboarding for global employees. The role will require cross functional coordination, ability to build, lead and execute learning and onboarding programs with a desire to stretch their facilitation skills.

Please Note* - Required to be in office in Mountain View/San Jose on a monthly basis to lead the in person onboarding experience

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute learning strategies and people driven learning programs, workshops, trainings
  • Partner with the cross-functional teams and People Leads (HRBPs) to develop robust portfolio of curriculum that helps bring the talent development vision (Education, Experience and Exposure) to life
  • Assess the success of programs through qualitative feedback and surveys and help employees make the most out of learning opportunities
  • Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos
  • Participates in the design and delivery of high-impact, scalable, and technology-enabled solutions that meet the diverse needs of our employees and leaders
  • Continued development, scaling and advancement of Lacer onboarding programs
    • Design the on onboarding journey for a new Lacer and work with functional onboarding leads to map out the full learning path
    • Work cross functionally with Workplace/Facilities, IT and speakers to execute and coordinate in-person onboarding event logistics (room bookings, IT/AV, catering, hotel blocks)
    • Provide communications to managers new hires regarding information, tasks, schedules and follow-up
    • Develop content speaker management (including slides and speaker prep)
    • Develop agenda
    • In person event facilitation
    • Document scale onboarding
    • Development of Learning and Enablement path

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication through verbal, written and in person facilitation and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to speak confidently and be comfortable in front of a large group as well as in one-to-one interactions.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
  • A minimum of 5 years of learning and development or onboarding experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Maintains a keen understanding of learning trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience leading large projects across different functions and geographies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic with desire to operationalize ideas and iterate quickly
  • Required to be in office in Mountain View on a monthly basis to lead the in person onboarding experience
  • Teaching experience a plus


Comp: Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000 USD Annually + Bonus + Equity+ Benefits (including health, dental, wellness reimbursement, BetterUp coaching/learning programs, and more)
