Join our Product team
We are looking for a User Experience Designer within the product management group. In this role, you will partner with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to realize Lacework’s vision of security from code to cloud. The ideal candidate will be customer-first, have solid user centered design methods, experience designing cyber security tools, and a desire to learn in a fast paced environment with outstanding technical innovators. Experience with SaaS based B2B products, particularly cloud or IT is a bonus.
What You Will Accomplish
- Create wireframes, workflows, storyboards, and UI mockups that mirror our user outcomes.
- Ability to be hands-on, contribute to and support our design system and pattern library.
- Participate in creating products from scratch and iterating on existing designs
- Execute in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and senior leadership to build a world class user experience and communicate our user experience vision.
- Partner with the design team to build and strengthen best practices and a strong design culture
- Facilitate design reviews and support alignment with project stakeholders.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of UX design experience.
- Able to provide a demonstrable portfolio of design work executed by you that showcases exceptional design craft on software that has been delivered.
- Experience with a variety of user experience design and research methods, tools, and software (eg, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Storybook, Balsamiq etc).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to provide and receive feedback and direction
- End to end design experience, the ability to generate, iterate, validate, and deliver design artifacts in a fast paced technical environment.
- Solid understanding of the intricate balance between designing for user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Experience designing for technical users in critical job functions such as SOC (security operations center) or other cyber security related roles.
Salary Range: $137k - $300k USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus + Equity
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training and skill level.
